Antitumor effect of a nutrient mixture on colon cancer cells

Colorectal cancer is the second most deadly cancer in the United States and there is an urgent need to develop effective preventive and therapeutic strategies against it. The aim of our study was to investigate the antitumor effects of a nutrient mixture containing ascorbic acid, lysine, proline and green tea extract that has been previously demonstrated a strong anticancer activity in several cancer cell types.
